Taken Back! Easter 2021(Mark 14:32-42)

Have you ever felt like you were being crushed by the weight of life’s responsibilities? Jesus can identify with us. He experienced great stress and loneliness in Gethsemane as he fervently prayed for another way instead of the Cross. Here we see Jesus’ humanity as he feels afraid and alone, even as the sufferings of the Cross lay ahead. Ultimately Jesus drinks the cup of the Lord wrath because he loves humanity. This is the only way to save the people he loves. God hates sin but he loves sinners. We can be forgiven if we believe in Jesus as our savior. Jesus loves you! God bless!
