Following Christ: An Alignment (Luke 14:25-27)

Jesus is blunt and his words are provocative. He states we must love him foremost and all other as distant second in our life. In comparison to our love for Him all our others love would appear as hate or even neglect. This is the cost of true discipleship. If we were to take Him at His word we would discover a meaningful and blessed life. He would also reward us far more than we sacrificed by keeping Him first!
