Why Can’t I Get Over it?: The Extent Of Forgiveness, Part 1 (Matt 18:21-27)

Have you ever been in debt? Maybe you bought something you regretted. In this story debt is liken to sin against God. God is the king in this parable. The slave represents Believers, who have experienced God’s great forgiveness of sins toward God. Ultimately, the debt must be paid in one way or another. Either the God will pay for you to be forgiven or people will have to pay their great debt to God. This parable illustrates God’s great grace upon those who ask for his mercy. Have you asked Jesus to be your Savior so that you can be freed from that debt? If not, do so now to find forgiveness and experience God’s rich love for you.
